I like the colours in the background, and the trees seem to have a little snow lying on them. Maybe the statue is too centered, but it is interesting. Thank you for sharing it, John.

John het is wer een schoon plaatje, De workshop van Robbert echter, maakt de compositie compleet.Verder is hij goed, zonder meer. Ik denk trouwens dat je mijn vlinder hebt gemist. Heb ik genomen vlak bij de Belgische grens bij Kwadendamme.

Je n'avais jamais vu une statue peinte en plein air ! Espιrons que Diane la chasseresse ne perde pas ses couleurs au fil du temps.

Et bien pour ma part moi non plus une statue peinte en extιrieur me fait bizarre.
Le cadrage centrι par contre est fort joli ici j'aurais laissι peut κtre plus d'espace au dessus de la tκte mais bon cela reste une histoire de goϋt.

Prachtig John. Mooi contrast tussen de donkere winterkleuren van de achtergrond en de lichte pasteltinten van het standbeeld. De compositie had zoals Robbertjan en Jaap aangeven inderdaad iets spannender gekund, maar soit, het is wel mooi monumentaal zo. Het past bij 't klassieke karakter van 't beeld. In welk park staat dit beeld trouwens?

Nic ecolors and good shapness. It's rare to see a full color statue of an ancient God or Goddess. This perhaps gives a sense of what some classical sculpture perhaps once looked like. Perhaps if you had been a bit more to the right and looking up at the jumping fawn there would have been more dynamism. Still, interesting shot and nicely done.

Hi John,
The point of view is showing the details and colors of the statue of Dania. The trees are framing well the statue. The picture is clear and precise. The colors are enhanced by the wuality of the light. have a nice day.

Hello John,
Fine light enhanced beautifully the Diane sculpture, which was placed within a forest - as she was the hunting goddess.
Contrast and mild colors are used well, I like how the trees behind gave a darkening effect.

Hello John
Its not your fault that there are foolish people that enjoy vandalism. It also looks like Dianas' right leg has been replaced recently as the colour doesn't quite match her left leg. Could be the exposure from the flash too. Good sharpness and framing. Tfs!
