This afternoon it was very bad weather for take a picture.
But the creek and trees are always a very nice subject and typical for the area.
I hope you enjoy.
History of the different Creeks.
A storm flood hits the Zeeuwse islands and the northern part of the Flemish coast on 2 or 4 October 1134. Dudzele, Oostkerke and Heist continue to be spared by the presence of dikes, but via the Scheure the area is flooded to the Bruges-Heile (Aardenburg) line. The main creek is further torn in the southwestern direction to the gorges creek of the Gapaard (approximately 1200 m southwest of the current Damme). This creates the actual Zwin that will determine the landscape and economic life of the Damme region for the next centuries.
The entire area south of the Evendijk, between Damme, Sluis, Lapscheure and Moerkerke, this is to the border of the sandy region, is underwater; The area north of the Evendijk remains largely spared. The swallow and slurry area in the triangle of Sluis-Damme-Den Hoorn is graded and deployed from the last quarter of the 12th century to the end of the 13th century and is equipped with several creeks and canals

Dobro vece, gospodine.
Lep pogled i trenutak, interesantan i dobar tekst ...
Lepo pokazana zelena polja i potok, dobra perspektiva i kontrast, lepe boje, lepo uvacen trenutak sa oblacima koji dolaze sa kisom. Lepa priroda i refleks na vodi.
Dobar tekst o koriscenoj tehnici i elementima snimka.

Hello John,
The weather might not have been perfect but there was still some sunlight to illuminate the banks of this meandering creek beautifully and cast some delightful shadows across the grass on the left.
I love your fine composition in which the creek leads the eye to the regular row of trees in the distance.
Beautiful soft light, lovely colours, perfect exposure and exquisite details and sharpness throughout.
And a fine interesting note too.

Hello John,
The sky is mainly dark but there is a fine light streaming through the clouds here and there, which has created a very attractive play of light and shade in the field and among the trees. The trees are lined up on a straight angle and the creek is winding very nicely into the corner. The special light has also created very lovely tones of green.

Hello John,
The bad weather engenders a particular light that I find very atmospheric. You have exposed the image very well thereby retaining the mood whilst leaving enough detail in the shadow areas. Excellent colours and sharpness and some nice reflections in the dyke.

Despite the bad weather, and maybe due to the big cloud hanging over the far side of the field, you managed to produce a marvelous picture, with excellent tones under the diffused light condition.
The canal wonderfully shown on right side, added sense of depth to the whole.

Hallo John,
Het slechte weer valt niet van de foto af te leiden.
Delen van de weide en het veld vangen het zonlicht op en de lucht is ook niet echt heel somber.
Een heel rustig beeld met zachtjes kabbelend water doorheen het groene land.
Mooie heldere presentatie.

The weather is cloudy but the light is very interesting here, with the dark clouds making a very nice contrast with the vegetation! Sharpness is excellent and the reflections on the water are a beautiful detail! Wonderful composition!

Ja, het is de laatste dagen geen best weer om er op uit te trekken. Maar het brengt wel van die fascinerende luchten als op deze schitterende foto van het West Vlaamse land. Je moet een beetje geluk hebben om tussen de buien door net op een goede plek te zijn om een foto te menen.

I like the 's' shaped curve of the streams embankment. Good sharpness and nice reflections in the water. The repetition of the trees on the horizon line is excellent. And the b&w cows grazing on the lush pastures at far left add a focal point. Tfs!

Sorry, I had missed this one in your gallery, at least i'm getting to it now. you mentioned about the bad weather this day, but I think the atmosphere added to your scene :)
gives it alot of contrasting elements and is actually quite beautiful. the fence and gate are my favourite parts :)
