Wild greylag geese.
In the 60s of the last century, the wild goose to fade from our country, in 1980, the wild goose disappeared. This especially by collecting eggs, but also by the hunting of adult animals. Currently emerging wild goose again, especially around Damme and Oostkerke between Blankenberge and has a large population.
Geese remain together a goose lifelong fidelity, and geese life can be 40 years.
Does the partner geese away, the remaining will still grieve years.
Similar monogamous relationships also occur in cranes and swans.
Geese groups have a leader, the geese group this path is remains confused.
The greylag goose was in the last century the fault of the damage to agricultural crops.
Conservationists picked eggs of graylag goose and there could be hunted.
Even in 2008, was given permission to gasify hundreds of wild geese..
