One year ago I was photo hunting in Kortrijk a city 15 km of the French borders
The bridge was very busy with different people, looking to the seller with sun parabola, see my previous picture, one year ago.
This is a Flemish city, Dutch is the language, but much people speak also French.

History;
The Lys Bridge is a bridge in the centre of the Belgian city of Kortrijk. The bridge spans the River Lys and connects the Leiestraat with Budastraat. The Lys Bridge is a place where for centuries been a bridge provides the connection between the Market and the districts Buda and Lys.
Have already been several other bridges at the site of this bridge. Both Lys bridge was blown up during World War I and during World War II. Just beside the Lys Bridge was originally located on either side buildings that came directly along the back of the Lys. Along the western side of the building was demolished in the late 19th century to make way for the Dolphin Quay (which was named after an inn in that place). Along the eastern side was long famed property in the Lys Bridge. By inflating the Lys Bridge during World War II historic building was heavily damaged and eventually not rebuilt. This allows the Lys Bridge is now on both sides no longer surrounded by buildings

dobro vece, gospodine.
Lep pogled i trenutak, interesantan i dobar tekst ...
Dobar rad, kompozicija, perspektiva i kontrast, lepe boje, lepo pokazano mesto i trenutak.
Lepo uhvacen trenutak sa prodavcima i kupcima cveca.
Dobar tekst o upotrebljenoj tehnici i elementima snimka, vrlo pousno.
Prijatno vece i sve najbolje u novoj nedelji koja je pocela, srecno.

Hello John,
The people on the bridge bring so many colours and such a pleasant life to this view. The towers far behind are beautiful, but this time they had to stand back for the life of today. The weather was lovely that day, with very nice clouds. The photo has beautiful colours and very nicely handled light.

Wat een mooie, zonnige foto. De kleuren zijn heel aantrekkelijk, vooral het groen van de bomen en de felle tinten van de jassen. De twee torens vormen een mooie achtergrond. Prima compositie ook.

Kortrijk is ook zon naam uit de rijke Vlaamse geschiedenis. Veel van gehoord, vaak aan zien staan, maar nooit geweest. Geen echte toeristen die hier op deze prachtige foto staan, het zijn vast echte Kortrijkzanen.

The bg cars add scale to the distant bridge with the twin towers. A lively fg scene with the flowers adding a welcome splash of colour. Good shadow detail & sharpness. Tfs!

These two round towers on the background are so eye-catching for me, so foreground with the flowers is not so attractive. But this is only my opinion, your photo is great! I think I saw these towers on your photos before, right?

Very pleasant street scene. Plenty of people, flowers, colors.
This little market makes a wonderful foreground for the attractive two towers further in the distance.

Here you present us a colourful daily ife scene - in really beauitful surroundings. The sun parabola is an additional interesting detail in the picture. I also like the flower decoration on the bridge railing very much. Kortrijk seems to be a worth visiting place.
