Bridge reflections V, a photo from West-Vlaanderen, Flanders

Photographer's Note

A picture taken at Hoeke on one mile of the Netherlands borders, very early in the morning, two hours after sunrise. The high bridge is the highway Antwerp - Knokke.
You can see the lovely autumn colours on the edge of canal.

Un paysage, certe un peu banal, mais admirablement mis en valeur par les lumiθres et les reflexions. Il fallait avoir le coup d'oeuil !

Goeie morgen John

mooie foto van Hoeke-brug en zijn omgeving. De weerspiegeling van de brug is zeer goed maar ook deze van de Herfstkleurige struiken aan de parking en vooral de verdere weerspiegelingen in de Damse vaart onder de brug door. Goed gezien.

Goedemorgen John, Wat een heerlijke atmosfeer in deze foto. De reflecties maken het hier en het contrast tussen het rijk gesatureerde water en de liuhte lucht is ook interessant. En niet te vergeten: de strakke architectuur voegt zich fraai in het natuurschoon. Erg fijn werk!

splendid autumnal colors, above all i like th reflexes, because the water is incredible deep blue!
All is absolutely calm, no traffic in the highway!
Please don't bother, but I find a bit distracting the tilted horizon... ;-D)
The image is anyhow very pleasant!

Very powerful quality. You have some very good lines going on here, and I really like how the bridge acts as a window through which we see the canal. I see too that the colors of autumn are really starting to appear in Belgium.

Lovely view, I like it, you focused in the title on the bridge reflection, but I'd like to say my eye it attracted to the left of the image for the luminous display of autumn colors. However, the bridge and perspective on the righgt side add a good balancing to the view.

I like your perspective and angle of view, making of this scenery bridge a great composition. Excelent mirroring water reflections. Splendid autumnal colors and light. Graphism and diagonals.

Well, it is a nice one, John. Good structuring of the frame to have the "flat" area with the reflections in the foreground, and the perspective element with the canal in the back. Nice showing of the seasonal colors. It leans a little to the right but you know about that.

Het is een schoon spektakel John,
Dat is een tekst die ik mij herinner van mijn vader die al zo'n 17 jaar geleden het leven liet.
Prachtige compositie, goed gebruik makend van het licht en de reflectie.Heel mooi genomen John, goed werk.

Weer een geslaagde foto met geweldige weerspiegelingen, als je de foto 180graden zou draaien, zou dat bijna exact hetzelfde plaatje opleveren. De herfstkleuren zien er mooi uit met dit licht, mooi werk!

Magnifiek John! Prachtige reflectie; ik zou er zelf nooit op komen om juist die brug te fotograferen, maar wat ben ik fout! Je hebt het werkelijk schitterend op beeld gezet en die herfstkleuren er dan nog bij maken het compleet. Misschien wel een beetje gedraaid, maar voor de rest: 10X bravo!

Werkelijk een sterke reflectie in het water tot diep in het perspectief, de kleuren in het groen zijn hier weer bijzonder gooed en natuurlijk doortekend, het onderwerp is iets van minder belang alhoewel met de minimale elementen toch weer sterk gecomponeerd met de brig zijlings waar we tot in de diepte ver kunnen onderdoor kijken, een goed gradueel blauw in de voorgrond van het water.

Alors, c'est fait, l'automne a pris ses quartiers en colorant les feuilles des arbres, c'est la collection automne-hiver ΰ Bruges !
Une bien jolie prise de vue oω le canal se resserre, cet aspect dynamise la composition. Les reflets sur l'eau sont toujours aussi beaux.

That's a great shot. The reflections are marvelous and the colors very fine and vivid. Good POV also. I think the horizon is tilted slighty to the right.

Lep pogled ujutru i trenutak, dobar tekst ...
Dobar rad i kompozicija, lepo pokazan most na kanalu i drvece na obali, dobar kontrast i perspektiva, lepo uhvacen trenutak sa refleksom na vodi.
Lepa priroda i arhitekturi.
Prijatno vece i mirna noc sa lepim snom, sve najbolje, srecno.
