This picture has been taken two month ago, during a bike trip through this fantastic rural area of 'Meestjesland' on 1 km of the Netherlands border.


In the polder of his Meetjesland, there are two areas where creeks the flat landscape grace: the north of the town St. Laureins and north of the town Assenede.
This landscape has been officially approved by City, recognized by the label 'regional landscape.
The Sente Creeks in the Saint-Laureins discover perhaps the best cycling through the Sent Creeks Road. You can guide the offices of Eeklo, Kaprijke and the St. Laureins audioguide "The Creeks Speaking ... 'rent.
Here you can see the 'De Vos en de ganzen' one old legend
Stories and anecdotes are smuggling Polder you whispered as you enjoy the scenery are quite distinct. There is also a junior version whisper of this trip.
In the area of Sente is especially the Creeks 6 km long Jack Creek and the pilgrimage church of St John-in-Eremo a visit.
Also beautiful: the Oudeman Creek where the image group
"When the fox preaches The Passion ..." in the water Shines.
This image has become the symbol the Meetjesland.
