One beautiful white tourist, a photo from Ordino, North

Photographer's Note

After a terrible flu that has left me K.O. for some days, today I restart my regular activity here.

While I was taking some photos in the gardens that surround this manor house in Ordino (Andorra), this beautiful young lady appeared, a magnificent puppy of the race Swiss Shepherd, who with her impressive white color, caught my attention and I decided to include her in my composition, in which initially I was trying to catch the splendid architecture of the fortified house.

Information: The House d'Areny-Plandolit is one of the most emblematic museums of Andorra. This house dates back of the XVIIth Century, but the majority of the structures are of middle of the XIXth Century, moment of economic summit of the family because of to the figure of don Guillem d'Areny-Plandolit and his activities related to the iron industry. The furniture remains faithful like living of the family and to his social condition, and there are exposed the objects of an epoch in which the luxuries were not known in the Andorran valleys, and limited to this family, the only one with pertaining to nobility title of the country. The visit moves us to the Andorra of the XIXth and XXth century and includes a free walk along the gardens of the enclosure.

Despuιs de una terrible gripe que me ha dejado fuera de combate durante unos dνas, hoy reinicio mi actividad normal aquν.

Mientras tomaba algunas fotos en los jardines que rodean esta casa seρorial en Ordino (Andorra), apareciσ esta bella seρorita, un magnνfico ejemplar joven de la raza Pastor Suizo, quien con su impresionante color blanco, captσ mi atenciσn y decidν incluirla en mi composiciσn, en la que inicialmente intentaba captar la esplιndida arquitectura de la casa fortificada.

Informaciσn: La Casa d'Areny-Plandolit es uno de los museos mαs emblemαticos de Andorra. Esta casa data del s. XVII, pero la mayorνa de las estructuras son de mediados del s. XIX, momento de auge econσmico de la familia gracias a la figura de don Guillem d'Areny-Plandolit y a sus actividades relacionadas con la industria del hierro.
El mobiliario y el menaje permanecen fieles al modo de vivir de la familia y a su condiciσn social, y se exponen los objetos de una ιpoca en la que los lujos eran desconocidos en los valles andorranos, y limitados a esta familia, la ϊnica con tνtulo nobiliario del paνs.
La visita nos traslada a la Andorra de los siglos XIX y XX e incluye un paseo libre por los jardines del recinto.

Andorre recθle des joyaux architecturaux. Celui-ci est d'une grande beautι, il faut dire que l'ιcrin environnant complθte un tableau idyllique. Quant au chien blanc, je ne connaissais pas cette race, il a parfaitement sa place dans cette composition.

Espero que ahora estα recuperado de su gripe. Me encanta esta foto de primavera, por lo que esperamos para ver el final del invierno. Las paredes de piedra, la vegetaciσn, la luz, el color, la nitidez, y por supuesto el amistoso del visitante, son muy agradables. Excelente calidad. Bravo.

This stone built house sits very nicelyunder the shades of the trees. The vegetation around the house makes it beautiful with color contrast. The visitor looks like she is very much impressed with the house ant the atmosphere. The white puppy sdds dynamism to the image. The purple flowers in the foreground bring freshness to the image.

Un encantador rincon con esta casa tipica de las fuertes construcciones pirenaicas, ideal el bonito perro con esa blancura tan perfecta, la composicion es preciosa con el bonito entorno de flores, plantas y arboles, las sombras sobre el cesped y la fachada dan un hermoso grafismo.
Perfecta la gestion de la luz, asi como el colorido tan natural.

On a tous nos petits bobos, moi je suis sorti de l'hτpital aprθs une opιration pour un cancer d'intestins, mais on est fait fort et on va s'en remettre. Bien captιe cette vieille maison dans un merveilleux ιclairage. J'aime bien le chien qui regarde cet arbre qui ne tient plus debout tout seul. Les dιtails sont bien montιs et les couleurs splendides.

You captured the typical architecture of Andorra with the dominance of stones neatly bound harmoniously. The framing is done well with the tree on the right. I like the shadows in the FG on the luminescent grass which creates good lead-in. Indeed the white puppy gave an added dimension to this scene. Well done!
