Pelicans at the harbour of San Juan del Sur
I don't know for which fish they are waiting, but the Pacific offshore fishing will score you Black Marlin, Sailfish, Tuna, Wahoo, and Dorado. Nicaragua’s inshore fishing can be just as exciting, and will score you Rooster Fish, Jacks, Barracudas, and Mackerels.

Hello Achim,
A good capture of these pelicans waiting to seize their chance on a passing fish. I like the juxtaposition with the open air restaurant in the background waiting for the human diners to start appearing. Very good colours and sharpness.

The point of view is taking my eyes toward the restaurant which is giving depth to the composition. It is also shwoing the deatils and colors of the pelicans. The afternoon light is bringing out the colors. Have a nice day.

haha, kind of a humourous scene, Achim. I wonder how much they pay to rent that boat...judging by the old look of it and being so many, it must have been quite cheap for each pelican. Nice tropical mood, very atractive color of water.

This scene is a really surprising mixture of wild nature and man-made landscape. It is captured with the excellent composition, beautiful colors and soft light. The pelicans in the foreground are the main compositional element, looking very impressive. A very unusual and exotic shot!

This is a very interesting shot. I didn’t see the pelicans in the thumbnail, therefore it was a very nice surprise to click and open the photo.

In the thumbnail, these pelicans are not visible as their colours merge with the boat. Interesting scene with good contrast with the blue water. There seems to be throng of people in the BG...Well done!
