Built in 1880 as Parque Central. In 1892 was renamed as Parque Colon to commemorate the 400th anniversary of the discovery of America by Christopher Columbus (Cristobal Colon).

Hola Pedro, It looks like a square in Mexican town, with this bandstand (zocalo?). There are also such constructions in Cuba. Lovely composition and colours.

Hola Pedro,
Chosen a good POV to show both the beautiful pavilion in the FG and the part of the church behind. I assume it had obstacles to take a left-POV to include both towers.

A pity in our city is the kiosk disappeared, notwithstanding every Sunday forenoon playing the regional music orchestra.
Also the church in background makes your picture attractive.
Very good pov and perfect sharpness.

Hi Pedro,
Bright and cheerful colors of yellow, red and chocolate that contrast well with the cooler tones of the blue sky. Excellent sharpness and good shadow detail and upward pov on the rotunda. Tfs!
