Hi Eric!
Interesting portrait with straighforward gaze at you. What was he thinking while you were taking the picture? I like taking portraits myself and quite often Im asking myself that question especially when Im taking a picture of unknown person unexpectedly.
In my opinion to make the pic more attractive you should make it more dark and frame it.
