La Fortuna Waterfall is 70 meters high waterfall in Arenal Volcano National Park. To get down to the base of the fall visitors must pass a path of approximately 530 steps in tropical wet forest. This shot is from about half way down the steps.

I can imagine the roar of the water falling from 70m height, Kari.
As written on the previous picture from this place, it is a marvelous white stream through the rain-forest green.

Hello Kari,
This is a spectacular view of the water rushing down the steep hillside. I can see from the earlier photo that it's not a huge waterfall, but this close view makes it look quite dramatic anyway. It's a nicely sharp photo and you balanced the composition well.

Hello Kari,
This is indeed a pretty spectacular waterfall and your photograph has captured it very well with what I think must have been the perfect shutter speed. And the water stands out brilliantly against the deep green foliage of the forest plants.
530 steps is quite a trek and I can imagine that those steps might have been quite slippery too!

Hello Kari,
Good that you've been able to take pictures during different stages of the descent (or the climb).
Due to the warm and humid climate the trip must have been sweaty.
