Photographer's Note
Street life is fascinating in Vietnam and here in Hanoi Old Quarter at one of numerous side street markets where people sell their goods outside. This scene captivated me, a lonely veg seller seemingly deep in her own thought, perhaps an artist in her own right.
Everyday before sunrise there are deliveries of the fresh produce to replenish so every small market like this, sells fresh vegetables. But business is always very competitive, nearly every available space is commandeered by sellers and farmers on bicycles trying to raise a few VNDongs by selling their fruits and vegetables, everything, etc, etc...
