Photographer's Note
This is an old photograph. My first trip to SouthEast Asia in 2006.
Day excursion from Hΰ Nτi to Nin Binh. 95 kms. About 3 hours bus drive.
Tam Coc-Bich Dong (The three caves). Hang La, Hang Hai and Hang Ba.
The largest 125 meters and 2 meters high. Vast limestones cliffs rise out of the rice paddles. The boats rowed by one or two local women.
They bring with them lots of souvenirs and embroideries to sell after the boat trip. I always think people have the right to get some income, so I do not bother about this. You have only to know what to buy and what not.
I wonder if this departure gate I had to use in 2006 is still there or they have arranged a new pier for the departure.
It's a wonderful trip and the scenery absolutely incredible.

Roser,
I can feel the struggle here. Nicely captured with a limited colour pallet.
