I think what I like best about this shot is your post processing. You have created a very "film like" look to this that is really appealing. I think it is increased contrast which has done that and it looks good to me. Great expressions on both kids and good sharpness, exposure and DOF. However, I would prefer to have more room on the left to show us what was drawing their attention. A little more context wouldn't hurt. Overall a very nice dual portrait.

Excellent light, Tuan, emphasizing the girl in front and her big, sad eyes. Not that she's necessarily sad--she seems more just thoughtful. This image really conveys a lot about the two kids. I agree with Darren that a less tight shot, with a little more context, would be good, too. This one is great, though! Regards, Ken.

Incredibly lifelike! I'm not sure why, but it has a very special look. Some people have said that it's film like - well, maybe. I think that it has great lighting, soft overhead light with a little golden glow that lights up the faces. The contrast looks higher than normal, and that's a good thing in this case, because it adds a lot of depth to the faces. Superb!
