Photographer's Note
Photo taken at the Can cau market, about 30km from Bac Ha town, Lao cai province. It takes place every Sat morning. These girls are Flower H'mong minority.
The H'mong people is one of the largest hill tribes groups in Vietnam (population is apprx. 600,000). They often occupy and live on the mountainous and remote areas, mainly in the Northern part of Vietnam. Based on the costums they are wearing, and some dialects they are speaking, H'mong people can be sub-divided in smaller groups such as: Black, Red, Blue, White, Green and Flower H'mong.

Tan: this one is very nice. I remember Can Cau - drove there on a motorbike one day - a very rainy day - what a highlight it was - great shot - they are very friendly are they not? Fine PP on this one. regards, c

Just a great photo here...wonderful clarity and sharpness, and your subjects are just beautiful. Such stunning costumes in this area of Vietnam. The faces you've captured are quite lovely. Very nicely done.
