The Tomb of Tự Đức is quite a large complex outside Hue with a tomb, temple and this pavilion and lotus pool (these are not flood waters). The complex dates from the 1860s with the tomb being of the emperor Tự Đức.
In the WS are another photo of the pavilion and one of the tomb.

Hello Ian,
My neighbour today in TE. Good sharpness, an excellent high pov looking down, and a pleasant diffused light. The people sheltering at right animate the scene. Tfs!

Hello Ian,
The photo offers a great overview of the buildings, the pond with the calm water and some fine reflections and the surrounding trees. I like the gate in the foreground with those three people.

Hi Ian,
I don't understand how it is possible that Polish letters which only slightly differ from Latin alphabet cannot be displayed in photo titles on TE and yet you managed to include such complex letters here.
The weather was cloudy but the architecture is quite original and interesting nevertheless.
Great reportage,
M

Hello Ian,
I was pleased to learn that these were not flood waters for the temple looks to have a wonderful, calm setting, fronted by this lake.
You have composed the scene well, with the terracotta arch and figures nicely off-centre.
My warm regards,
Bev :-)

Hello Ian,
Fine photos from the Tomb of Tự Đức. There is so much grime on these buildings. I wonder if it is neglect or the wet climate, probably a bit of both.
Happy 2022,
MT
