2 photos today taken from covered areas of the Đại Nội Citadel in Hue and looking out over the grounds.
The main photo looks through an arch to more flood waters - walking right outside in much of the grounds wasn't very practical.
In the WS is another view across the grounds.

It doesn't really look like a very pleasant visit, when it was hard to tell the difference between palace grounds and river. But both photos are well composed, especially the main one, and the colours turned out well.

You had a good ides to use the arch tp frame the scene. The wideness of the area is giving depth to the composition. The point of view is showing the details of the arch and of the buildings. Have a nice day.

Excellent use of this old and weather-beaten arch in the foreground. It frames the flooded area and the buildings at left very nicely. I like the red and yellow colours on this grey and cloudy day.

Great composition with the perfect use of the arch as a framing and a way to partially cover the grey skies.
The reflection adds a nice touch here. Great depth of the field with the well pronounced damaged surface of the arch surface.
