Photographer's Note
H'mong kids are one of the most beautiful group of kids I've ever seen. Their Chinese heritage gifted them with fair-colored skin, light brown hair, and eyes that are either big or small. They are dressed up quite well.
The H'mong villages in Nan are recipients of a lot of donations of clothes thus, these kids have well-coordinated attire. This even make them look more beautiful. This girl is no exception. She has that innocent stare and a compelling look in her eyes. She's the green flower: a beauty in poverty.
Auto-adjustments, unsharp masking, brightness and contrast adjustments.

What a great expression on her face. I like the green color in her shirt and hair slide. I also like the color and the pattern of the background. The light and framing are great as usual.

beautiful portrait again, you are so good at it... great expression, great composition. very soft again. i'd prefer to see the frame a bit thicker without this green line - white line would be nicer imo ;)
and sometimes 20pix thick white frame works very well too.

This is a very good, tightly cropped portrait Manny, not really much to add. Another one I could recognize from the thumbnail.
I have to admit, I am dissappointed though. I was hoping to see something out of your new camera today. Maybe tomorrow?

The eyes, the expression, the DOF, the framing, the DOF - all perfect, Manny. Ther's an excellent addition with the maching color of the shirt and the hair (I don't know the word for that thing in her hair), Very well done.

Your magic at work again, Manny. What an expression, what wonderful glowing eyes. Very good tight cropping around this beautiful subject, and I like how her dress and hairpin match in a colorful green. I never tire of looking at your childrens portraits, they light up my day.

Little and so serious princess in green..:-) I love the way you have composed the picture with the light background in right, so her face and lovely eyes could be underlined better. Sharpness, colours and framing are excellent!

The expression that you captured on the little girl's face is excellent - but I cannot decide whether she is happy or angry. Nice touches of green in the shot. Good DOF and a good note too.
