OK, I think for this to work, you need to be much closer to the boat, using a really wide angle. DOing that will give you a more impactful shot, but to be honest, it will still be a shot that has been done very often. I am sorry, but the shot of a longtail (even though there is no motor on this one, the body is the same) on the beach, creating a leading line into the ocean has been done very often and if you are to do it, it needs to be done pretty much perfectly to make it stick out. Colors are nice, but I think the scan is not of the best quality.

i love the minimalist approach in this Ishai..
very beautiful image,, i find it a bit grainy but still works i think.. vertical format is a good idea too..

the place looks very beautiful...but im suprised when i see the excellent quality of other photos in your gallery, about the presentatation of this one...anyway it is a wonderful spot ,,,and i tried to practice my workshop skills on that one!

As you say so well, I also like the emptiness Ishai: I am a bit disturbed by the horizon line which seems tilted: I am always thinking how I would have approached the boat, and I decided that you have taken the right decision.
I'll be in Geneva next week ( 18-20 April ) On the 19th I have a big photo exhibition at the UN - Palais des Nations at 18.00h. You are welcome, and I'll meet you personally if you manage to come.
