Photographer's Note

The old bridge crossing the River Pai in northwestern Thailand. Don't confuse it with its more famous cousin on the River Kwai.
The orgin of this bridge is a bit of mystery, with some sources suggesting it was originally buiit during World War 2 by the Japanese and other sources saying it is built by the Thais in 1976. Whatever its origin, its become a great tourist attraction and provides a nice place to stop and walk across the river. On both sides of th ebridge are some very yummy food stalls and small markets.
