Photographer's Note
Samae San is a very busy little fishing town, with about 12 different piers jutting out from the shore. In this photo, freshly crushed ice is being loaded out of the white hopper into the hold, while the other boys are using a human chain to move the catch up onto the dock. The boy in the foreground is the one that must throw the containers up onto the dock. Of course they know I am there snapping away, and once in a while I would be rewarded with a look! Hi bonjour my dear Steve, how are you?
Long absense from TE, how are you, my friend?
This shot is another Asian breeze shot by perfect framework and great composition in the detail as usual. Great presentation for the the Asian usual life, which I like very much. Thanks for your sharaing and have a good Saturday!

Hello Steve - It's great that you have the opportunity to spend lots of time in the bustle of the harbour, I think apart from being an interesting place, you get to see and understand all the processes, viewpoints etc which helps with your composition. Here you give a good feel for the activity of the place and show us the "working" side of life rather than the picturesque. An interesting and attractive shot. have a good weekend. Rosemary

Hello Steve,
Busy indeed, even though they're taking a few seconds break to watch what you're doing. The slightly chaotic conditions have given you a lot of colourful details and lines and curves going in all directions. A catchy and interesting picture.
Best regards,
Gert

A rich frame, the fishermen are nicely disposed in the composition, and their positions add rythm and depth to the scene. The yellow baskets provide a nice break to the mainly blue hue from boats and sky. The young man standing provides just enough action to liven up the image, and his place in the frame is in perfect counterpoint of that of the other workers. Nice job, Steve, I keep looking at it.

Hi Steve
As you see, I'm back to TE, after months of absence due to a very heavy workload. Hopefully I now will be visiting TE more frequently, let's see.
A very typical fishing boat shot, as it has to look in Thailand with smiling faces. It's a busy scene of a port, where I think I have not been so far. Vibrant color hues with high sharpness. Well done.
Warm regards
Urs
