Photographer's Note
At Hatyai Nai Temple in Hatyai, is the Reclining Budhha statue which is 35 m long. Named Praputthamahattamongkhol by King Rama 9 (Bhumiphol) in 1976.
The dog stood (lying down) guard as I took this picture. Dogs are a welcomed subject in Thai temples especially since the dog year is one of the named Buddhist year.

Hello Sam,
This is a very interesting capture of such a big and highly aesthetic statue. Inclusion of the people and such a nice element of the security service, as this pretty dog, make the scene looking even more interesting and attractive. Excellent composition and perfect quality!
Best regards,
Sergiy

Hi Sam,
A very funny photo indeed. The similarity between the postures of Buddha and the dog creates a light humorous effect, nice of you to notice that. Thanks for sharing and have a nice day,

Nice framing, if a bit tilted. I like that the ladies visiting are muslims, as it shows tolerance and curiosity for another religion, something the thais are accustomed too, despite the unrest of the last decade in the region..
