Laurent, c'est très intéressant de se trouver dans la vie quotidienne d'un peuple, c'est une façon de faire du tourisme qui est enrichissante pour tous. La photo est très nette et les attitudes sont naturelles.

This is a typical scene is SEA. I was born and raised in Malaysia and grew up drinking this black drink. I can't remember the local name for it but it's basically a simple black jelly (not herbed) that's produced in a size of a brick. Then, it's cut up into little cubes or strips and mixed in water. The water slowly turns black. The drink is usually served first by scooping some liquid sugar into a plastic bag or cup, then the black jelly mixture is poured in. So, therefore it becomes sweet, otherwise, it's not and it doesn't taste very good without the sugar. This drink is cooling in a hot climate like Thailand and Malaysia. The plastic bags are used as a take-out or take-away option. They don't use wax or styrofoam cups there.

Your composition and pov is good capturing the right moment with the cutting of the jelly and the lady drinking from the plastic bag.

Too bad you didn't taste the drink Laurent. It looks very interesting! A good picture of this street and people walking around. It give us an idea of the cities in this country and the way of life there. Good colors, light and sharpness. Have a Happy New Year and keep posting :-)

Beautiful and fully of significant urban scene. Interesting the girls face looking at the big casserole. This kind of scene is also common in some cities of Brazil.
