Photographer's Note
In the midle of heavy traffic these street vendors in Bangkok risk being crushed under a bus at any moment... but they know how to go around and virtually no accidents happen... they have to run fast!
Hope you like it

An interesting find with this basket vendor pushing the cart along the street, Laurent. The diverse array of differently-shaped and -sized baskets makes for a good subject that stands out well from the busy urban surroundigs. I just wish that his left leg were not cut.

Hi Laurant,
a very nice shot of the street Vendor in Bangkok. Like Norbert mentioned before it is nice to see that there are baskets of different shapes and size. Nice to see this scenery of OUR city.
Nice composition and good colours.

Hi Laurent,
A very spectacular transport for this street vendor or purveyor, lovely contrast also with the car in background between the different means of transport. I maybe agree with Norbert about the leg of the man, but I know it's very difficult always working perfectly.
Amicalement,
John

Olá Laurent, hehehe, I love it. It's a very Oriental scene and an excellent addition to the theme. Good tight composition, resulting on a nice pattern from all the diferent baskets - almost as your close-up compositions of the fruits and vegetables. Very well done!
Um abraço,

Laurent its interesting how the culture in Bangkok reveals these eye catching vendor with his cart and baskets. I am certain this man could be hired as an engineer on fastening items together. Incredible setting here. I love the decisive moment and excellent details rendered. Nice one Laurent!

Bonjour Laurent,

Excellent shot of the street vendor with all these baskets; an English expression is :- he has everything on there except the kitchen sink. You keep showing us all kinds of new and interesting scenes of daily life for us to learn from.

Hi Laurent,
You caught this at the decisive moment. Its hard to comprehend that there could be such a vast array of goods hanging from this one small vehicle - at least the items are light! The vendor seems totally unabashed in the traffic. I like the POV, the clarity of detail and the overall lighting. Well done.

At first glance on the thumbnail I thought it was a picture from the Philippines! Vendors like this are a common sight in the provinces of the Philippines. Your photo is very interesting. It would have been better if the sun was shining as it would give shadows to each and every articles on the cart.

Bonjour Laurent,
Daniel.

yes all kinds of vendors everywhere seem to learn the art of dodging incoming traffic...
this is a superb picture showing fine details of the vendors wares. His cart looks so over full yet the baskets must be light...
In his stance you seem to have caught the momentum with which he is pushing the cart.
