A slight oasis effect seems to be present here. Looking across a field of rice, almost ready for autumn harvest. Farmers in this central province of Taiwan live well. It has been famous for sugarcane in the past and is now one of Taiwan's major sources for fruit and vegetables as well as rice. In the south, warmer weather can allow three crops of rice. Taiwan is a very advanced nation in many ways.

Hi Murray,
A good POV of the rice field and of the palm trees in the background, the photo is sharp and clear. The photo has a good composition, DOF and nice colors. Thanks for sharing.
