This was taken on a trail that goes up the nearest mountain to Taipei 101. It's a quick 15 minute hike and provides some beautiful views of the city.

Hell Neil, a spectacular sight - I never knew there was such a tower in Taipei (though never been there yet) with a great vantage point from which to view it. Really nice glow you've captured from the structure and the two silhouettes really add a fantastic human touch.

Very nice contrast of two subjects in fantasy setting. A couples on the rock in silhouette against bright city tower give a magic moment. It could be a memorable scene in the movie.

Thanks for this original view, the next time I will go in Taipei, I will try to do this walk.
Your centring is very good with the 2 people in puppet shadows and the tower entirely visible.
I have a small comment on the horizontality of the photo, the tower is tilted on the right: it is easy to correct every picture software.

hi Neil, this is certainly not a standard composition- pretty unsual combination of nature and civilization. the view from there must be fantastic, i just want to imagine myself sitting there instead of that couple...great result.

Amazing! Finally, a very original take on 101. i love it! The green highlights on the people adds a nice twist to the silhouettes, and the abstract dark shapes are so odd that they're a perfect natural foil to the world's tallest building. Thanks!

Fantastic shot! The rocks, on which these two people sit, give an archaic touch to the foreground which creates a fantastic contrast to hypermodern skyscraper. Therefore your photo could be reed as a symbol for human evolution.
