Photographer's Note
One of the greatest things about living in Taipei is all the easy escapes. We have beaches, mountains, hot springs, and wonderful winding roads (for the motorcycle) all within 30 minutes.
This picture documents one of the quickest escapes: A quick twenty minute hike up to the peak of Jio Wu Mountain and you're rewarded with stunning views of the city and a beautiful jungle walk...Watch out for the huge bats that fly around up there!

Neil,
Very creative ocmposition. The man on the steps is a funny focus. If he moves to the right a litter bit, I think he can be a more obvious focus. Good.

interesting shot Neil, i like it alot. I like the way it leads you down and into the city in the background. The lighting is also good with the green and then the city lights in the background. The man at the bottom of the steps adds a nice finishing touch to the image. The composition reminds me alot of one of my photgraphs called 'Gate To Italy'. Except mine leads to a beach instead of a city, you should check it out. Good work.
With kind regards
Rob

Hi Neil
Good contrast between the path and the city. Either would be good shots by themselves, but better together. What gives the green cast to the light?

Hi Neil,
I like the different stages of lights. Dark, then bright then again dark this overlaps gives good depth to picture.
Good composition.
