Yes, the contrast of basically two colours is very attractive. But it probably benefits the photo that there are actually several tones of green. Next to Indian women generally, Buddhist monks are probably among the most photogenic people in Asia.

Of course you were attracted by the colours - what person, especially a photographer, would not have been?

And you have captured this most colourful scene perfectly in a very pleasing composition with the brightly dressed monks very nicely arranged under and equally bright but green tree and against a background of darker green foliage.

The light is beautifully soft, the colours rich and vibrant, your exposure perfect and the details and clarity are superb.

And a very interesting note too!

Hello Elvira, I like to go to the botanic gardens, especially in exotic countries. Then it is a possibility to see the interesting trees. But here the picture is attractive not only because of the beautiful tree but also these young monks in their orange robes are eye-catching.
