Photographer's Note
Yesterday I posted an evening shot of Singapore Esplanade. This view is a closeup of the Esplanade's roof structure, which is designed to keep out the tropical heat, despite its glass dome that allows you to have quite a good view of the city from the inside. Hi John, a splendid architecture picture with a beautiful roof view, I like of the different triangles, here is the B/W a lovely image.

Very sterong graphic effect int this. I like how you used a long lens to compress perspective and get a Dorian that is "unlimited". The single human makes a lot for the picture.

Great modern architecture shot, John. An appealing graphical quality to it, not only from the roof structure itself, but also from the bending streetlamps in front and the foreground balustrade. Nice to have the pedestrian included. I guess for a really abstract version you could go close to the roof pattern. The result would probably be sort of a Singapore cousin of this one ;-)

Worth a second view, and the B&W lets us concentrate on the pattern here. I hadn't noticed before how well the streets lights fit in with the style of this place.
