Photographer's Note

It was the 2nd day of Chinese New Year. Singapore roads still looked pretty empty then. I was on my way back from Chinese Festival at Esplanade when I tried to look at a new perspective to take the seen-too-many Singapore skyline.

I set my camera low, below waist level, knowing that it would make the lamp post skewed wildly. Exposure is not all that difficult, the sky still pretty bright, and I can hand-held 1/13 easily at the ultra-wide position. I compensate -1 from metering, afraid that the street would become too bright. It turned out well after all
