Photographer's Note
Durian is the Malay name for a round shaped fruit with its distinctive features of a hard outer skin which is covered with sharp, prickly thorns. The skin shape is similar to the roof of the Esplanade theater (shown on bottom right), hence the nick name.
The picture was taken from one hotel at the Marina Bay around 6AM. The position from where I took this picture is decided by fate and luck, because I did not choose the location of the room I was staying. A night shot would have shown all the lights from the buildings, but in this case it appeared they have shut down all the lights by the time I woke up.

Great shot, i love the colours in the sky, the buildings really stand out well in their dark grey colour, the exposure time is perfect in this shot, great work!

This is a real good shot. Nice soft colors, perfectly sharp and nicely framed. An impeccable POV and a good accompanying note. I don't see how it could be improved.

Great intensity! At the begining I tougth the contemporan building at the first plan was a kind of animal...like a big fish finding is way into the city...like in "Arizona dream" !
Great job! Even if I think a larger view will have be better, because i feel a little bit trap in the picture...
