Photographer's Note

We’re back from mini-vacation to Valday, beautiful region only 400 km northwest of Moscow. Relentless rains didn’t allow us to make many pictures there but one day we had a charming sunny morning...

Valday Hills, upland region, NW European Russia, composed of a series of glacial moraines that rise to 340 m. The region forms the watershed of the upper Volga, the Western Dvina, and the Dnieper rivers and also of the rivers that flow into Lake Ilmen. Numerous glacial lakes are found there. Fifteen kilometers long, up to 85 meters deep, Lake Uzhνn is one of them. The lake is surrounded by age-old forest where fir, pine and birch are main tree species.

I sent a cropped picture as a workshop. What variant is better?
