Photographer's Note
Palace of Tsarskoye, Empress Catherine the Great. We had the good fortune to travel to St. Petersburg for a few days two years ago.
We visited a place called Tsarskoye Selo, a few km from the town, where Empress Catherine the Great spent her time.
A grandiose Rococo palace, the work of a French architect, but the Slavic taste and world of colors leave a great mark on both the outside and inside.
This may not be very attractive to a European person.But the quality of workmanship and luxury is very spectacular.
More on that later.

Hi Csaba,it was not difficult to take a great photo with such a spectacle available, but the timing, the quality and the perfect symmetry created an exceptional postcard. I like the light concentrated on the facade and the couple in the shade, as if to enhance the details and colors of the building, and nothing else should be deigned to disturb..ahaha ... Hi Csaba,
this is spectacular and the only reason which was putting me off from the trip there was a problem with visa which I heard now is not necessary, well also I don't have convenient flight connections that direction, and in general last years were challenging enough even to go to a grocery store.
Beautiful architecture, fantastic colors, you had a wonderful weather day.
The couple making photos adds some life without overcrowding the scene.

The presence of the persons has an effect of scale. The point of view is showing the details of the Palace of Tsarskoye. The quality of the light beautifies the colors. Have a nice day.

Hi Csaba,
A nice view of the palace, showing its wonderful colours in the sunshine. I like the baroque curves and details, and the bright blue and white colours of the facade. The two people in the foreground mirror the two conical shrubs on each side, to emphasise the symmetry.

Nice architecture style, a so beautiful castle, well framed with symmetry, good sunlight for the blue tone rendering, a good memory for me this castle with a visit in winter with a nice snowy landscape, tfs

Wow! A stunning faηade here with nice repetition of the columns in various arrangements. Good colour, sharpness and lighting. Well framed and composed using the rule of thirds. Tfs!
