Photographer's Note

In the previous image I showed the exploration of the childhood as a source of work, here we have the opposite.
There was a rich Russian teacher who decided to teach something for the poor boys of Russia, he created a school and educated many people. One of them was Nikolay P. Bogdanov-Belsky, who painted this canvas in 1895 showing that school. We can recognize the teacher, an icon of Mary and her Son above and a group of the boys trying to solve the mathematical challenge the teacher gave them. Check the WS and you will see the boots of the boys and their rags. The white thing at right was a heater of porcelain.

Havia um professor de famνlia rica que decidiu educar meninos muito pobres da Rϊssia, ele criou uma escola e educou muitos jovens, um deles era Nikolai P. Bogdanov-Belsky, que pintou essa tela em 1895, mostrando a sala de aula onde aprendeu a ler e escrever.
Podemos reconhecer o professor trajado de negro e acima dele um νcone de Maria com o Menino. Na sala temos vαrias moleques tentando resolver o desafio matemαtico que o mestre lhes deu. Na foto do detalhe vocκs poderγo ver as botas e roupas esfarrapadas que os meninos usavam, indicando sua pobreza extrema. Aquela coisa branca do lado direito da tela ι um aquecedor feito de porcelana.
