Photographer's Note
Church of the Ascension, in Kolomenskoie, not far from Moscow city center.
Kolomenskoye is a former royal estate situated to the southeast of the city center of Moscow, Russia.
The earliest existing structure is the exceptional Ascension church (1532), built in white stone to commemorate the long-awaited birth of an heir to the throne, the future Ivan the Terrible.

Hello Jerome
The light was difficult with the white snow and the white building ,but you have handled it very well.
I like the footprints leading my eye into the figures walking to the entrance of the church.
Best Wishes
Gladys.

Hi Jerome,
This is excellently captured church from very well selected viewpoint. The view from lover angle makes the church majestic and dominant. The light is perfect, the contrast against blue sky excellent.
