Yes, it must be still a contrast for the Saint Petersburg streets. What can I feel???
I think there is a big globalizations in a whole world with the colours, races, nations, cultures. For a couple of years we can say - this picture could be taken everywhere...

Hi Vivek,
Couldn't have chosen a more appropriate title. The double portrait is contrasting in so many ways! I for one can pick up the contrast in colour, in hairstyle, in the glasses they wear, in dress (revealing and unrevealing) and in the way they react to being photographed (one looking away and the other staring back at you). Any more contrasts? Perhaps others will pick up something that escaped my eyes :))

Yes, your photo is very contrastive. When I look at this photo I think it could be a symbol for different phrases... for example for everlasting fight the good and the evil... (look at the face of the girl behind ;o) ) What do you think of that Vivek?

Hello Vivek,
very well and nicely captured shot. You composed it in great way obtaining this interesting contrast between two different races. What I think about it? You show us one of the positive features of the globalization. 15-20 years ago it was impossible to think that in a not so far future, Russian basketball teams would be plenty of American players. Fortunately it happened.

I see a l;ot of similarities also. They are both driven bythe pace of the city, hasted and bad tempered like only city-people can be.

Nice capture of this lady with a bit of a distant look on her face. The exposure and tones look nice and are well balanced and I also like the inclusion of the lady in the background to serve as a comparison and reference point. Nice work.

Hi Vivek,
I suppose one could read in a lot of racial theories and such, and it would be very easy to view the girl on the right as having a rather contemptuous expression toward the black girl. However, I like to think that these are just two attractive young women who each have their dignity and presence. The girl on the right is likely wanting to look cool and chic and may be looking more at your camera than at the other girl. In any case the shot is crisp, clear and full of dynamism. I like it very much, Vivek.

this is an interesting observation . I often wonder the thought processes of some of my photogenic subjects.
They're definitely some contrasts but also some similarities namely they both seemed a little stressed . Jim

I pretty much agree with other member's comments. Its the diversity that comes to one's mind. I always believe the world is for everyone to share and the borders and procedures are created by us. Excellent portrait Vivek.
