Photographer's Note
This shot was made on a small island Paley in the Onezhskoe lake. Onega, like natives call it, is a huge northern lake, full of coves, peninsulas, islands made by glacier passing by. The water is full of boulders and fish. There are cliffs, pines and a clowds of mosquitos on its shores and islands.
I was in the northern part of the lake. The water is always calm there and the sun goes away only for 2 hours at night in July.
There is a monastery on a Paley island. It was founded in the 10th century and was very rich a few centuries ago. But now it is just an island with a couple of ruined buildings on it. 3 monks live there and build the monastery from the beginning.
There will be a few more photos from this place on TE. Hope you'll like them.
I didn't do any color correction at this shot and others from Paley.

Hi katyako.this is a good shot.i think it is better not to divide the frame into 2 equal areas.and it is better to have the main subject in one of the golden points.to avoid any moire effect of sun's ray it is better to remove any uv filter before shooting the scene.
thanks for sharing your nice photo with us.
good luck.
