Photographer's Note

Red Square in Moscow is surrounded by two very impressive piece of architecture. To the West (left hand side on the picture), the walls of the Kremlin border the Red Square. The Kremlin extends far beyond Red Square though, as it took me 25 minutes to jog around it... sorry for the unprecise detail!

The Southern limit of the Red Square is St.Basil's Cathedral (center on the picture). This cathedral was originally built in the 16th century.

For a North American such as myself, it was a very special feeling to be walking on the place I saw many times on TV when I was a kid and where I had thought I would never be able to set foot in.
