Photographer's Note
This was taken 12 years ago with my first DSLR - a Canon 350D. I was on a long drive and passed by a farm/rice field that early morning. The fog was covering the hills and river at the background, and the sun was trying to get through. When I saw a water buffalo (carabao), I knew I had my foreground. I stopped the car and took several shots from the side of the road.
Now that I'm at home due to the lockdown, I was able to review old shots and share them here. Glad I took this in RAW file as it made the post-processing easier.

This shot of paddy field evokes a peaceful atmosphere, memory and nostalgia. The solitary grazing animal holds the focus and leads the eye to receding mist and beyond. Very well exposed with lovely tones and natural colour - we can almost feel its tranquility! Nice reading your words, Congrats.
