Photographer's Note

Layag is a vernacular word for sail which is attached to outrigger boats. The sail is made up of patched old cloth or with any other materials. In the Zamboanga region its called a Vinta, which are made of assorted vertical colors the represents the colorful culture and history of the community.

This photo was taken in the morning where this fisherman was doing his daily catch outside the no fishing barrier.
