Photographer's Note
The village of Chhusang in the ethnically Tibetan Upper Mustang region of Nepal. the cliff's of the region have an incredible red colour, which is repeated in much of the local architecture. The traditional explanation for this that I was told was that either a demon or an ogre (probably just translation differences) was slain by a daeva and their blood splashed across the region. Taken on a recent trek through the area.

Fabulous view Colin - great colour in the cliffs with good composition to provide the green strip as contrast to the more desolate background.
cheers
Ian
