In the Shan state lies Myanmar's picturesque Inle lake, the second largest lake of the country.
It is home of the intha (son of the lake) who live on stilt houses in the surrounding villages and on the lake itself.
Their main occupation is agriculture, fishing..
A long tradition for Intha people who develloped an unique method of fishing...
Here you can see 2 fishermen with their unusual conical fishing traps to catch carps, catfish etc...
