Photographer's Note

When we arrived to visit the Ongiin Khiid Monastery we got a nice surprise. Just by the riverside we found about a dozend tents set up and lokals wandering around everywhere. It happened to be the weekend of the yearly Gobi Ankle Bone Competition. It is a game where the players (one of them shown on my picture) try to hit 2 ankle bones set up on a little table about 4 meters in front of them with the white quadratic item on my picture. They send it off with their middle finger and use the wooden construction as frame to get the right direction... Not easy... Not easy at all...
