Photographer's Note
Shot in Redang Island, off the eastern malaysian coast. The island is set in a marine park, there are no roads and so no rubbish trucks: everything has to be done by boat. This is the 'rubbish boat' (in this setting, it almost looks nice).

This is ironic - a "rubbish boat" in such incredibly pristine waters. Very beautiful. I thinks it's a pity you couldn't angle it so the background was just the sea, without the island. I like the people in the shot. Why the US flag I wonder?

Cool shot. I really like how the color of the boat matches the color of the sea. I just wish that the island wasn't there in the background, because it kind of disturbs the compo a little. Anyway, wonderful scene that deserves full marks. Well done!

The Blue Hue's in this shot are fantastic, complete paradise exect from the contents of the boat!! great positioning of the horizon, Well done!

I will never look at a boat the same again. This is so far the best capture of a malay boat and a rubbish boat at that. No wonder the seafront is so crystal clear and azure clean.Just excellence Paolo, a tiny oversharpening maybe but just excellence.

I like the tones of this shot, but sincerely the island behind the boat is an element of obstruction to the composition.
