Hello Stephen,

As always, a fascinating note about this place and a very fine photograph to accompany it.

I love "candid" photographs like this of daily life, these commuters passing the time waiting for their train by browsing their mobile phones or just standing impatiently. I'd love to try taking pictures like this here in Blighty but I suspect that might be an open invitation to having one's collar felt by some jumped-up official - people here are now so suspicious and paranoid when they see anyone with a "real" camera, despite the fact that everyone and his dog appears constantly to be taking photos with their phones.

Despite what must have been relatively poor light, you have come away with a wonderfully detailed shot, very nicely composed with the line of the platform's edge leading the eye perfectly across the frame. Lots and lots of interesting people and things to examine too.

Hi Stephen,
great daily life scene.
My attention was stole at first by the girl on the phone wearing traditional Malaysian type of scarf.
She is so deep in the social media :)
I am surprised to see her flip flops. This is the type which I would think people would rather wear at home.

The exposition is great and allows us to check details even in the further distance.
Interesting to see these protective screens.
