Photographer's Note

This lady in a kimono was walking the back street behind the row of shops that leads up to the Sensouji Temple in Asakusa. The way she walks and the expression on her face tell that she's filled with confidence. I don't think it's because she was wearing the kimono, as that seemed very natural to her.
The photo was actually very dark so I had to tweak the tone curves by pretty much dragging the central point to the very top. I also cropped about a third of the top and a quarter of the left of the original shot.
