Photographer's Note
My 7th shot in the series from of the wild Japanese Snow Monkeys around the hills of Yamanouchi Town, Nagano, Japan.
The macaques are very intelligent primates that learn allot from mimic and copying one another. This little guy is foraging for food nuts, grains, or any type of food through the snow. Although these youngsters have been been known to even make snow balls on occasion!
More information can be found here... Japanese Snow Monkeys.
I hope you like the shot,
- Dan

What a nice moment you captured of this snow-eating creature. Maybe he thinks it's ice cream. I'm kidding, but the picture was really good.

Hey Dan,
Your series on the snow monkies are incredible - great poses and angles youve captured. Technically great too, which is so nice to see.
They are quite under rated in my opinion (apparently snaps of European buildings are more interesting than these)...
But I love your work on these shots.

Hey Dan, I really like this picture. It's like he's deep in thought, trying to figure it all out. Nice :-)
