The contrast of generations here is excellent! And the seemingly adult posturing of the children is really cute! Perhaps adjusting the levels might improve the picture some more - reducing the blue-gray cast from the extra bright outdoor conditions.

Smart shot! I like the two groups of generations formed - both deeply engaged in observing the board notes. The kid with the red blouse is the "jewel" here - having not only the most expressive posture but also adding the bright and vivd spot to the picture. Very well captured moment, nice framing, focus and composition!

I find it interesting that the kids are interested in the board since it's simply a posting of donation levels of companies & individuals who supported the festival. Maybe they are practicing their katakana reading or looking for their family's name. Since there's not much color here, anyway, this photo may be worth converting to B&W for a more dated, traditional look.
