Photographer's Note
Yes I have to reply to my dear friend, Craig.
He mentioned in his previous comment that "the festivals in Japan are always interesting. I wonder do people ever go to work??? "
Yes we, Japanes, are usualy so serious hard worker or somtimes workhoric except festival days. On contray Japanes explosed our energy and daily frustration at one time like this.

Hello Takero,
That comment by Craig made me smile. I think Japanese have a reputation for being so extremely hard working and disciplined that you need these festivals to let off steam. Otherwise you would all be in the danger zone for nervous breakdowns or heart diseases. I think these happy people will go to work next day in a much better mood. The man at the front in the middle looks very happy at carrying such a beautiful woman on his shoulders. It's an amusing photo with very good light and colours and perfect sharpness on the front rows.
Kind regards,
Gert

Hello dear Takero
A hectic action shot filled with happy faces. I'm really surprised to see the women participating in this (semi) naked festival.

Dear Takero,
Continuing your dialogue, Japanese people rarely do parties/festivals, but when they do, everybody notices. :)
Best Wishes,

Hello dear Takero, What a dynamical picture! We see that the participants of this crazy festival have great fun. The question posed by Craig I also ask sometimes, haha. But I know how much you work.
Kind regards MAlgo

Hi Takero,
I think Japanese are famous for being hard workers. I suppose the surprise was to see that in spite of the work you find time for so many colorful events.
But then again if someone looks at my photos they sometimes say I have a lot of holidays, but it is because these photos from holidays stand out and are remembered while the quiet working days are unnoticed.
Same with the weather: whoever looks at my photos from England says that we have great weather here all the time but in fact on bad weather days I sit at home, and I unpack my camera only at the good weather days...
Fantastic capture here with a pleasant amalgam of human bodies.
The joy is a common theme. Very well captured here.
The lady holding the fan is well placed in the centre.
Excellent capture!!!

Hello Takero,
A great photo of all those people at the festival, a wonderful impression with a lot of happy and excited faces. The many orange and red colours are very appealing as well.
