The puzzle was easy and all of you guessed right - it was the leg of the Komodo Dragon. I will show the whole beast and how I chased it in the jungle but first, I would like to begin the short travelogue about one of the weirdest days in all my journeys. There were two other adventures so strange - when I missed the plane from Guatemala to Warsaw and when I went from Thailand to Angkor Wat.

First of all, it was March 13th, Friday. Friday the 13th is considered an unlucky day in Western superstition. It occurs when the 13th day of the month in the Gregorian calendar falls on a Friday. The irrational fear of the number 13 has been given a scientific name: "triskaidekaphobia"; and on analogy to this the fear of Friday the 13th is called paraskevidekatriaphobia, from the Greek words Paraskevν (Παρασκευή, meaning "Friday"), and dekatreνs (δεκατρείς, meaning "thirteen").

Was this day lucky or unlucky? For me, it was very happy.

We spent the night on the boat, somewhere near Komodo Island. The previous day we visited Rinca and Padar Islands. In Rinca, we saw several Komodo dragons, but for me, it was not enough. I wanted to see dragons on Komodo. So when most of the people of my group were snorkelling on the reef, I with two friends and a guide went to Komodo.
Here the views a short time after sunrise, from the boat. Isn't it a beautiful beginning of the day? I made a collage to show three pictures at once, without the need of looking at the other tab.
